TIM GARDNER

Tim Gardner of Tampa, Florida has collected and worn many hats within the bodybuilding & fitness industry. Gardner is currently the Olympia World Fitness Festival EXPO Director, Mr. Olympia Judge, IFBB Professional League International Head Judge, IFBB Professional League & NPC Contest Promoter, NPC Florida Chairman, NPC Puerto Rico Chairman, NPC National Judge, Promoter of the Year Award recipient several years over, Founder of Tim Gardner Productions, The BEV STORE and creator of TEAM BODY*TECH & the BODY*TECH BABES.

The bodybuilding stage would become a prevalent place for Gardner beginning in 1988. This platform catapulted him to be discovered by a talent agency in 1995 at a bodybuilding show. Gardner was casted at his first audition and the rest was history. Model, then quickly castings as an actor and voice personality for over a ten year span. 

In 1998, after a decade of accolades, titles and notoriety climbing up the NPC National bodybuilding levels, Tim retired from competitive NPC bodybuilding and completely transitioned into judging as a NPC Florida State Judge. 

2000, the millennium year was quite busy for Gardner. He retired from over 21 years in the architectural metals & glass industry while transitioning all of his endeavors into the health & fitness arena. Already a gym owner for 4 years at the helm of Body*Tech Fitness Emporium, Gardner created his first show, the NPC Hurricane Bay & Typhoon Bay Championships. He also became co-owner of Florida Muscle News, which later was renamed as Southern Muscle Plus. Gardner also startled the Beverly International Florida Distributorship assigned by esteemed owners Sandy & Roger Riedinger. 

2002 took Tim onto the NPC National Judges table where six years later, he would be promoted to the IFBB Professional League ranks. 

2008 would also be the birth year for the IFBB Professional League Tampa Pro and the early beginnings of Tim Gardner Productions. 

The end of the 2014 season brought holiday gifts to Gardner with an assignment to become the very first NPC District Chairman of the U.S. Territory in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico.

2015 launched the IFBB Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championship of Women Bodybuilding with Jake Wood and also a career milestone to be named to the Olympia Judging Panel.

Gardner reached the pinnacle of his judging status in 2016 by being appointed as an IFBB Professional League Head Judge by President Jim Manion. 

In 2017 Tim added another feather to his cap by being appointed as an IFBB Professional League International Head Judge. 

In 2018, Jake Wood, Wings of Strength & Tim Gardner Productions was awarded an IFBB Professional League International sanction to promote the IFBB Professional League Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro-Am. 

2020 brought on many challenges in its unprecedented, unique & uncertain ways for our industry. It also brought on change. Personally, we pray to not to have to experience another dose of what this year presented. The silver lining is always the blessings... 

The 2021 IFBB Professional League, NPC & NPC Worldwide season has much in store for Tim, Eileen and his ELITE Team of Tim Gardner Productions with 8 IFBB Professional League Pro-Ams and 2 NPC events on their contest calendar. Additionally, there is still an unveiling that needs to be done in spectacular fashion for the next Covid-free Olympia and its World Fitness Festival EXPO. 

2023 was highlighted for Tim, by being appointed to judge the resurrected Masters Olympia, that took place in Romania. Tim was also on the Masters Olympia judging panels in 2011 & 2012, in Miami. What an honor to be selected for these assignments. 

2024 became a special year for the Gardner family with the launching of Fostering Dreams of Tampa Bay, where every foster child’s potential is strategically nurtured, encouraged & cultivated; founded by Tim Gardner, who himself, was a byproduct of the Tampa Bay foster care system. 

2024 showcased the 60th Edition of the Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Jake Wood spared no expenses to deliver an amazing 6 days of all things OLYMPIA! 

2025 has ramped up to be a banner year for Tim; many with 5 TGP Pro-Am events on the docket plus partnering with Mel & Melissa Chancey on the 10th Annual NPC Mel Chancey Champion Muscle in Punta Gorda, FL. TGP launched IFBB PRO Apparel, as Champion Threads, Florida’s distribution center of Pro League & NPC clothes. Style Pasifika also I’d featuring a new clothing line for Tim Gardner Productions gear. The 14th Annual XMaster Fitness Chicago Pro has grown immensely since relocating to Rosemont, IL. This year’s 18th Annual Titan Medical Tampa Pro was a monster of 4 days, with 40 exhibitors & selling out two finals. The Tampa Pro stage also spotlighted two Tampa students, presenting one with a $10,000 Fostering Dreams of Tampa Bay sponsorship and another with a car. There was not a dry eye in the auditorium. 

The 11th Annual Hot Spot Tanning San Antonio Pro-Am will not disappoint at the pristine Lila Cockrell Theater by the Riverwalk. Anticipation is building up for the 25th Anniversary of the Hot Spot Tanning Hurricane Pro-Am, with many surprises in store for the athletes, judges & fans alike. TGP will close out the season with the ever-growing 8th Annual Atlantic Coast Pro-Am & NPC Natural Atlantic Coast; title sponsored by Fuze Vitality, Wings of Strength & Bombshell Inc. respectively. This 2-day event has grown to incredible proportions. 

October 10 - 11, 2025 marks our 61st Mr. OLYMPIA & OLYMPIA World Fitness Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, located at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with almost 500,000 square feet of highly synergistic world-class expo energy spread over two south halls combined. The entire Olympia Team is anxious to get this 61st Edition underway!
