IFBB/NPC Greater Gulf States

Greetings IFBB & NPC Family,

It is always a real treat for Eileen and I to be invited to New Orleans to judge Luke & Robin Tesvich’s IFBB/NPC Greater Gulf States. The NPC Louisiana Family is one of the closest knit group of individuals that I have seen in our industry and all of the athletes enjoy competing in NOLA.

The month of June definitely kept us hoppin’ to say the least. Bubby, Eileen & I have finally settled on our home venue in our 3rd year promoting the Wings of Strength IFBB Puerto Rico Pro & NPC Enchanted Isle Classic National Qualifier. The Caribe Hilton was like being in paradise resting right on the Atlantic Ocean. The IFBB Pros came to battle and the NPC amateurs could stand toe to toe with our NPC National standards. I proudly look forward to who will be crowned as the best of Puerto Rico in November at the NPC Puerto Rico Championships and who will represent the island two weeks later in Miami at the NPC Nationals. The next week took us to judge in Omaha, Nebraska for Jack & Ann Titone’s IFBB Omaha Pro & NPC Duel of the Champions. The enthusiasm from this sold-out crowd increased in decibels as the evening finals took on a life of its own long with an added bonus to have Mr. Olympia and my good friend, Dexter Jackson as the featured guest poser. The third weekend put us in Chicago for the NPC Jr. Nationals with over 600 athletes vying for one of the 34 IFBB Pro cards at stake. Pam Betz & Rod Larsen always host such a well-ran event and the quality of the overall winners was outstanding. I look forward to seeing these rookie IFBBers onstage in the near future.

July ramps up the Summer even more with our launching of our BEV STORE’s dedicated website and just a few days away from a record breaking 6th Annual IFBB Wings of Strength Chicago Pro & NPC Tim Gardner Chicago Extravaganza National Qualifier. We are anticipating close to 500 athletes to cross the Chicago stage. We will also be showcasing the first ever Wings of Strength Ms. International Classic Women Bodybuilding IFBB Pro Qualifier. July 8 puts us in Denver, Colorado to proudly sit in the NPC Head Judge’s chair for the NPC Colorado State Championships. July 16 takes us to San Juan, Puerto Rico for Adela Garcia’s NPC Battle on the Island National Qualifier. July 18 – 23 lands us in Pittsburgh for the gigantic event that Gary Udit built, NPC Masters Nationals. This will be my swan song for this show as a coach as we proudly have 5 athletes representing Team Body*Tech & Body*Tech Babes. We will wrap up July in Boca Raton, Florida spearheading the IFBB Pro judging panel at the IFBB Prestige Cup hosted by Andres Miller & David Gandell.

Halfway through the 2017 season and moving & shaking more than ever. This has been an odd year thus far with what seems to be more illness, unexpected deaths and setbacks for many close friends and loved ones. Life can be very fragile at times. I have learned that there will always be “things” which most you have zero control over but what I do know rather than ponder on the negatives, keep proactive in all that you do, enjoy every minute of your day and laugh at the simplest of things – keep your faith and keep your loved ones even closer to your heart. SHINE & SMILE…

Yours in IFBB & NPC,

Tim
